AI-Powered Meal Planning for Type 2 Diabetes Prevention
We designed Nutrimate, an AI-powered meal planning app to help young adults prevent prediabetes and type 2 diabetes by promoting healthy eating habits. The solution provides customized meal plans, calorie tracking, grocery management, and AI-powered recipe recommendations.
By following Dietary Guidelines for Americans and integrating with local grocery stores, Nutrimate makes healthy eating more accessible, personalized, and sustainable.

Wearables for Public Safety: Smartwatch for First Responders
Designed a smartwatch concept for firefighters and emergency responders, integrating real-time health monitoring, environmental toxin detection, and silent communication.
The device alerts users to hazardous conditions, tracks vital signs like heart rate and oxygen levels, and enables non-verbal communication through haptic signals, ensuring better safety, awareness, and coordination in high-risk environments.

Designed and developed a fully functional MERN-based e-commerce website with an admin dashboard for inventory management. Users can log in, browse products, add items to their shopping cart, and securely checkout using Stripe and PayPal payment gateways.
The platform features dynamic navigation with conditional rendering, ensuring a personalized user experience.

We conducted think-aloud sessions, interviews, demographic surveys, and System Usability Scale (SUS) assessments to evaluate how university students and faculty interact with TimelyCare.
The study revealed navigation inconsistencies, unclear labeling, and technical issues in appointment scheduling, leading to recommendations for improved accessibility, streamlined provider selection, and better error handling to enhance the user experience.
